What means of transport are available to reach the centre of Paris?
After your Birmingham to Paris flight, you may land at one of the two international airports: Paris-Orly or Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Transport means are however similar from both airports: you can rent a car or get a taxi from just outside the terminal building. If you wish to take the train, head for line B of the RER. From Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), you will reach Gare du Nord in about 30 minutes.
When landing at Paris-Orly (ORY), you can also take the RER C line, then the” Go C Paris” bus. However, bus line no.1 will take you straight to the city centre. Line 3 links both airports should you need it. By car, take the A6 motorway. Paris-Charles de Gaulle is accessible via the A3, A104 and A1 motorways.
